Cheating mastermind Hakam Singh granted bail in Uttarakhand High Court

The infamous Uttarakhand’s cheating and paper leak scamster, former Zila Panchayat member and one of his associates Pankaj Gaur have been accorded bail today by a single judge bench of Justice Alok Mehra of Uttarakhand High Court after his counsel Avtar Singh Rawat argued that there is no evidence showing his clear hand in getting the cheating / copying executed.
According to the latest news the leader of the UKSSSC cheating scam Hakam Singh has been arrested twice and bailed today.
It may be recalled that Hakam Singh alongwith his associate Pankaj Gaur were arrested in the month of September 20, last year after he was caught on the charges of demanding Rs. 12 to 15 lakhs in the exams of Patwari guaranteeing their qualification and getting them the said post positively.
The recorded audio was the evidence that led to their arrest by the Uttarakhand police and the SIT constituted on the directions of Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The case for seeking bail was being heard today in Uttarakhand High Court in front of the single judge bench of justice Alok Mehra.
The Counsel for the accused – Avtar Singh Rawat pleaded that since there is no evidence of his clients committing any wrong by being involved in copying they are liable to be given bail. The judge agreed and were accorded bail.
