A massive fire broke out inside the Army camp at Joshimath the gateway to Badrinath , Hemkunt Sahib historical ancient shrines. The loss due to this fire has been estimated to be tremendous. According to the latest news there wad total chaos inside the Army camp located on Auli Road in Joshimath today when a massive fire suddenly broke out in a store attached to the canteen. Due to strong winds, the fire quickly escalated, causing panic throughout the camp.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Army’s fire brigade and soldiers immediately arrived at the scene and began efforts to control the fire. After considerable efforts which are still underway till the time of writing this news the massive fire could be brought under control.
Attempts were made to save the goods stored in the store, but the flames were so intense that many goods were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, and the military is continuously monitoring the situation.
