ED, STF provisionally attach several properties in Reliance Anil Ambani Group with a total value of Rs. 1,452.51 crore.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Special Task Force Headquarters, has provisionally attached Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC) along with several buildings in Millennium Business Park, Navi Mumbai, as well as land and buildings in Pune, Chennai, and Bhubaneswar under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, in the case of bank fraud involving the Reliance Anil Ambani Group, with a total value of Rs. 1,452.51 crore. So far in these cases, properties worth total of approximately Rs. 8,997 crore have been attached.

Various news reports reveal that earlier the investigating agency had attached properties totalling Rs 7,500 crore in this case related to alleged bank loan fraud and other financial irregularities. Reliance Group sources had earlier said DAKC was an asset of RCOM which was undergoing insolvency for the last six years. In view of the latest directives the total attachment in money laundering cases against the Reliance Group stands at ?8,997 crore. The ED alleged RCOM and its group companies availed loans from domestic and foreign lenders from 2010-2012 onwards, of which a total amount of ?40,185 crore was outstanding.

According to Cobra Post : Reliance group entities diverted a staggering ₹114,529.18 crore through promoter-linked shell companies to CLE Pvt. Ltd., with funds traced across multiple group sources. The diversion includes ₹1,800 crore routed from Yes Bank as part of a quid-pro-quo arrangement -exposing a vast network of financial manipulation within the ADA Group.
