Monsoon session to pass supplementary budget of Rs. 5300 comes to an end with opposition law makers back with their mattresses, quilts and pillows
The monsoon session of Uttarakhand Gairsain assembly convened to pass the supplementary budget of Uttarakhand worth Rs. 5300 crores have though been passed, the protesting opposition MLAs who had squatted in the assembly with quilts, pillows and mattresses have finally returned back to the state capital Dehradun alongwith the ruling party MLAs and ministers including CM with their flamboyant entourage.
This brief highly expensive monsoon session seems to be more like a picnic than doing a serious business at the huge public exchequers expense.
Moreover, this brief monsoon session is being remembered in social media by one and all for another misuse of the public exchequer’s money when two of the senior leaders of the ruling BJP in Uttarakhand and Delhi Ajay Singh and Dushyant Gautam , the former Rajya Sabha MP, national BJP office bearer and former Uttarakhand incharge who has badly lost in the MLA election in Delhi and is not of much political significance were taken in the state helicopter to Gairsain giving them a VVIP treatment and then returning back in the same chopper is talked about too much.

The responsible scribes of Uttarakhand are asking as to what was the need to give these two leaders a chopper ride when neither are they are MLAs or MPs in the state.
If they really want to see the proceedings they should have enjoyed watching the hectic proceedings in Parliament rather than in Uttarakhand assembly where copies of the bills were torn by opposition members and the house witnesses tumultuous scenes when the union Home minister Amit Shah spoke.
It may be recalled that when several choppers were crashed in Uttarakhand in the past the statement of Dushyant Gautam had created quite a flutter and concern among the people of Uttarakhand. Today he is himself travelling at high altitudes in Uttarakhand in choppers said the analysts.
The opposition state lawmakers too were seen snoring in the Uttarakhand assembly at Gairsain during this supplementary budget monsoon session.

What had happened to the horse trading and Dal Badal vidheyak now in the cold storage and opposition instead of taking it seriously in the assembly putting heavy boulders on them clearly showing its incompetence said Gajendra Rawat.
