News of the second horrible stampede at “Jhusi” Prayagraj, Mahakumbh kept away from Media, PM and UP CM by the Mela administration ! Why ?

The Godi media is under tremendous question. While the majority of this so called media representing fourth estate was busy lauding the efforts and initiatives of the Uttar Pradesh government giving patting on the back of the UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the massive tragic stampede at Triveni Ghat Confluence and Jhusi area just opposite to the former have exposed them to the hilt. This is shocking that not a single reporter or cameramen of the entire electronic and print media of any national channel except Lallan top the other day evening reached “Jhusi” to expose this tragedy where large number of people died and injured with thousands of slippers, shoes, sarees, dupattas, chunis, bags, documents, clothes etc being cleared in trucks giving the unambiguous picture of the trauma left behind due to the second unreported massive stampede.

About ten tractors full of these left out slippers, chunis, sarees, dupattas, damaged articles etc were used to clear the eye-opening sight of Jhusi where on the same early morning at 5.30 PM after the massive tragedy at Triveni Sangam another horrible stampede took place brutally killing people and Cries of acute pain who were sleeping on the side of the Haldiram Stall after pious bath or likely to take the dip in the morning of Mauni Amavasya.

According to the latest reports there were 1.5 million jam-packed people thronging the Jhusi area from Triveni Sangam with several youths breaking the cardons at rushing forward.

The crowd was so much that people could hardly move ahead but crushing those sleeping with their feet and people jostling with each other running for safety with several women, children and even senior citizens literally crushed under the feet of thousands of people not knowing where to go.

Hundreds of people in desperation has taken shelter inside the Haldiram Stall at Jhusi where the owner saw four dead bodies inside his stall and at least twenty four outside.

The owner’s daughter complained that their hard cash of Rs 180 thousands was stolen in the melee.

She complained that there were no police bandobast nor a single media channel of reporter to cover this horrific tragedy till next evening.

She asked where was the Godi media which has been lauding the UP CM and the administration day and night for best arrangements in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh ?

It was only the 4 PM channel which has contradicted the mela administration’s claim of thirty deaths saying that about 58 persons have died in this stampede with hundreds of people, children and women injured.

There are also reports of the chief editor of 4 PM channel having received threats to withdraw the news exposing the UP government of various failures in Prayagraj, Mahakumbh but he stands on his claim, cine what may.

Meanwhile, Mahamandleshwar Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand has held the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath responsible for hiding the exact information about the casualties in the Prayagraj, Mahakumbh massive stampede for a complete day and keeping them in the dark holding him directly responsible for the ongoing mess and horrible tragedy in Mahakumbh.

He accused him for continuously telling lies and misguiding the sadhu sants and general public including the media by his mere rhetorics and hiding the casualties.

Meanwhile, the entire social media and electronic channels especially the You Tubers are full of footages of the tragic stampede accusing the government and the mela administration including the Prayagraj DM, SSP and other senior officers for keeping the entire media, the PM and CM in the dark about the second stampede tragedy that occured at Jhusi, on the same day after Triveni Ghat tragedy killing several people.

There is another report of several Tents having been burnt in a fire in another Kumbh area. Meanwhile in a tweet the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav who has taken bath at Mahakumbh two days ago has taken a serious note of a policemen throwing ” Raakh” or Mud in a meal being cooked in one of the tents of Mahakumbh for several devotees. He strongly criticised this act of a policeman demanding stringent action against him.

In another tweet he wrote : Suggestions to the Uttar Pradesh government regarding arrangements for relief of people trapped in Maha Kumbh: – An appeal should be made to open dhabas at various places 24 hours a day and to organize community kitchens for food and water. – Arrangements should be made to transport medical and paramedical staff from across the state to people stranded in remote areas through two-wheelers of volunteers. – Supply of petrol and diesel should be ensured to the vehicles stranded for miles around Maha Kumbh and across the state. – Medicine shops should be allowed to remain open 24 hours a day. – Clothes and blankets should be given to the people. When thousands of crores of rupees are being spent on publicity and to suppress the news of the accident, why is the government shying away from spending a few crores for the victims? Said former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav on X. There are also reports of some elements having played a mischief to create this stampede to degrade the image if the state government. There are reports that the Uttar Pradesh chief minister had convened a high level meeting of top brass and given urgent instructions to nab these elements if any at the earliest. Some women were seen saying in one of the channels that some young with men fair complexion have deliberated hit women physically without provocation allegedly leading to the stampede.
