Sonam Wangchuk and his 150 colleagues coming towards Delhi not allowed to enter the national capital, detained.Prohibitory orders imposed at the borders and three Delhi districts

The leading activist and a string voice of the Ladakh people who was heading towards New Delhi to finally converge at Jantar Mantar on 2 nd October for a peaceful sit in and protest to demand Ladakh to be brought under the 6 schedule of the constitution alongwith his 150 colleagues who were coming from Ladakh to New Delhi in a bus and also matching in between in foot have been arrested at the Delhi border. Sinam Wangchuk has released a video from Delhi border that the heavy police force have stopped our bus at the Delhi border in the midnight not allowing us to enter Delhi and it seems that we are being arrested. Meanwhile, the outspoken Congress leader and spokesperson Supriya Shrinate has revealed in a message in Hindi on her social media handle X that Sonam Wangchuk ji along with around 150 Ladakhis have been arrested by Modi’s police on the Delhi border. These people were peacefully marching on foot from Ladakh to Delhi – to protect their rights and the Constitution. These Ladakhis only wanted to go to Bapu’s Samadhi . Is Delhi someone’s ancestral property? She questioned further saying that neither farmers can come here, nor Ladakhis, nor youth. Who can stop the public? A cowardly dictator is not able to understand this – shame on him wrote Supriya Shrinate on X half an hour ago. Kindly recall that the Delhi police commissioner has yesterday issue special orders to impose ( erstwhile 144) prohibitory orders restricting holding of Dharnas, protest demonstrations, congregation of five or more than five persons and carrying of firearms, lathis, swords, sharp weapon, postcards, posters, etc from September 30 to October 6. The other reasons enumerated in the Delhi Commissioner of police order are the elections taking place in Haryana and neighbouring states including the issue of Waqf Board, information regarding possibility of communal tension taking place and holding of demonstrations, sit ins , campaigns in Delhi etc including VVIP and VIP movements oon 2 nd October in New and Central Delhi on Gandhi Jayanthi Day.
