Another ray of hope for Bronze in ten metres mixed air pistol event as Manu Bhakar and Sarabjot Singh qualify !

After clinching the first Bronze medal in the Paris Olympics as an outstanding woman shooter in 10 metres Air pistol shooting raising the Indian Flag high with the entire country proud of her including president and prime minister, Manu Bhaker has again given quite a ray of hope for another Bronze medal with Sarabjot Singh in the 10 metres air pistol mixed match with Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema not able to make it going out of the game. Both of them have qualified for the Bronze medal match in the doubles mixed ten metres air pistol event. WOW.

Similarly in the 10 metres Air Rifles Men’s final Babuta on whom were India’s tremendous hopes to bag the Bronze unfortunately missed the prestigious medal by just one point.

Babuta’s defeat infact has been a hard luck result as she lost by just one point. There was yet another setback in the Womens’ 10 metres Air Rifles final game in which Ramita Jindal despite her best efforts couldn’t come closer to the Bronze remaining far behind on 7 th position though SAI has still wished her best of luck to keep her moral high.

Away from shooting to Badminton performance by Indian players – the Indian double men’s badminton doubles duo comprising of Satvksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty against the Marvin Seidal and and Mark Lamsfuss from Germany’s second round Group C match has to be cancelled, making their third match a must win one at all costs.

Regarding the men’s archery match taking part in the quarter finals in Paris Olympics the results are in the offing.

Meanwhile, union sports minister Mansukh Mandavia while congratulating Manu Bhaker for winning Bronze medal as a first woman shooter in 10 metres air pistol competition in Paris Olympics wrote on his social media handle X : Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweets, “Congratulations Manu, you have displayed your skill & dedication, and you have become 1st woman shooter to win an Olympic medal!…” While speaking to reporters yesterday Mansukh said that he hopes that other athletes would imbibe the dexterity and spirit of Manu Bhaker who has brought first bronze for the nation. He said we’ve spent Rs.two crores on her and she has worked hard and with immense dedication while seeking training abroad . He said that other team players too will follow suit, work hard and bring medals for the country as Manu did expressing his immense jubilation.
