After Supreme Court refused to hear Soren’s plea the PMLA court sees him to 5 days police remand

While the Supreme Court has categorically refused to hear the petition of the former chief minister of Jharkhand challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case pertaining to the illegal sale of government land to private builders , the PMLA court has remanded him to five days custody to enable the ED interrogate him in depth.

It’s indeed a huge jolt to Hemant Soren and his senior advocates Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi including INDIA bloc as well Jharkhand Mukti Morcha a major constituent of INDI alliance.

Earlier, the main architect of INDI alliance and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar back stabbed the leaders of India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance by joining the BJP led NDA in a Huff earlier speaking to medi publicly that he would prefer dying than joining the saffron party ever in his life again.

Meanwhile the governor of Jharkhand Mr. Gopalakrishnan has accorded ten days time to 67 years old Champai Soren, the former transport minister to prove his majority to form the government leading it as it’s new CM.

Mr. Champai Soren a modest politician and a trusted politician of Jharkhand adored by former CMs Shibu Soren and Hemant Soren , has written a letter to the governor mentioning that he has the majority of 47 MLA hailing from Congress and JMM, submitting the signatures of 43 MLA to the governor.

It may be recalled that the former CM of Jharkhand was arrested by ED for illicitly capturing and converting the 8.5 acres of Defence land into private land and then selling them to builders against huge monetary favour and owning illegal buildings etc.

One of the businessmen from Calcutta Mr. Aggrawal who was allegedly maintaining and looking after the illegal money of Soren was arrested and on his clues the ED raided the Shanti Niketan, South Delhi residence two days ago finding the objectionable documents of two BMWs and Rs 36 lakhs in cash.

The former chief minister Soren who was missing for two days earlier was arrested from Ranchi, Jharkhand after he reached there from Delhi via car. He was interrogated for 7 hours by ED sleuths and then arrested. Now after the Supreme Court refused to entertain his petition sending him back to the state high court where the matter is still lying pending, the PMLA court has, remanded Soren for five days in custody of ED.
