CM Ukhand had a hectic day. Spoke to PM, met Prasoon Joshi of CBFC with actors and BJP spokesman Sambit Patra ! Why did Patra met him?

The Uttarakhand chief minister had a hectic day today in view of the state facing several natural calamities like land slides and cloud burst incidents due to torrential rains and monsoon creating lots of handicaps in the daily life movement and survival of the inhabitants living in the interior villages, on border areas , high altitude mountains and in valleys adjoining gushing rivers.

The prime minister Narendra Modi spoke to him telephonically seeking the state government’s response to the ongoing complexities like bridges, roads adversely affected by landslides and cave ins – not prone for traffic movements and other activities.

While on the one hand, the prime minister Narendra Modi spoke to the CM Uttarakhand Dhami on the natural calamities directing him to expedite the resurrection efforts etc, the chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification and renowned lyricist and script writer Prasoon Joshi and several Bollywoid actors of Uttarakhand origin met him at Dehradun lauding the CM efforts in establishing a cultural Center at Dehradun and also spoke with regard to various film related projects including documentaries based on ancient cultural tradition of Uttarakhand and also concessions being given to Bollywood and regional cinema by the present government.

In another meeting, the important leader of BJP and outspoken spokesperson Sambit Patra was in Dehradun meeting the CM in connection with the preservation and renovation of a 12 th century ancient temple situated at Sald village in Uttarkashi, Garhwal Uttarakhand. After presenting a representation to the chief minister

Patra said :

Today in Dehradun, met Honorable Chief Minister Mr.@pushkardhami
and discussed in detail about the restoration of the very ancient temple of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath ji, established by Adi Guru Shankaracharya ji in the 12th century in Sald village of Uttarkashi district and restoring its grandeur and divinity.

Urged Shri Dhami ji to ensure regular worship, Niti Kanti and proper arrangements for Mahaprabhu’s bhog in Shri Jagannath Temple and to bring the temple under the protection of ASI.

Hon’ble Chief Minister has given a request to restore Shri Jagannath Temple under Mandir Mala Project as soon as possible, to bring Shri Temple under the protection of ASI and by making special financial allocation for the temple, beautification of the temple area from the point of view of tourism and other necessary facilities said BJP leader Patra. Convinced to develop Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and Odisha both are religious, cultural and spiritually rich states, this Shri Jagannath Temple will prove to be helpful in further strengthening the spiritual and cultural relations of both the states emphasized Patra terming his meeting with the UK CM extremely fruitful.
