MAHAPANCHAYAT HELD AT RISHIKESH, DEMANDS MINISTER PREM CHAND AGGRAWAL’S IMMEDIATE OUSTER FROM CABINET !

Hundreds of women, men and youths in Rishikesh held a Mahapanchayat demanding immediate termination of the Rishikesh MLA and minister of Finance Uttarakhand from the council of ministers for his ugly act of publicly thrashing a Rishikesh resident Surendra Singh Negi, whose video became viral few days ago sending a wrong message across spectrum especially for the saffron party and its government ruling in Uttarakhand for the second term in a row.

The women were seen in large numbers as compared to men in this Mahapanchayat and leaders of various political parties addressed them demanding nothing less than ouster of the minister and taking legal action against him.

What is most important about this Mahapanchayat is that not only the leaders and activists of Congress but the BJP leaders are all so demanding stringent action against the finance minister Prem Chand Aggrawal who has brought bad name to the party and defaming it to the hilt.

Speaking to media the BJP leader of Rishikesh Bhagat Ram Kothari has strongly condemned the act of their minister Prem Chand Aggrawal terming it as shameful saying that this ugly act has brought down the name and reputation of the government and the party and if the party bigwigs and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami will not oust him from the party they will lose in the incoming look sabha elections as well, for sure.

He even went to the extent of protesting openly turning hostile, in case their request to oust him is not heeded.

It may be recalled that despite some much of controversy and degradation of saffron party’s image in Uttarakhand due to this obnoxious act of the minister, the chief minister has not taken any stand despite assuring in front of media of unbiased and justifiable action bringing the defaulter to justice.

The wife of the victim Surendra Singh Negi who is struggling hard to ensure justice to her husband said that nothing less then the minister’s ouster and stringent action against him will suffice.

Some political analysts are saying that while the chief minister is busy flagging off the Vande express and doing other inaugurations but has no time to give justice to the victim and his struggling wife despite the hard fact that the video showing the minister and his henchmen thrashing a man on the road so cruelly going viral having brought bad name to the party.
