After constant struggle and protest demonstrations, sit ins, candle marches and psycological pressure on the government and judiciary , the three human beasts were accorded capital punishment by high court of Delhi too but finally acquitted by Supreme Court after ten years of protracted legal fight, annoying and angering the society.

However, the LG of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena, had declared filing of a review petition from government’s side in Supreme Court.

Another review petition is being filed by another legal committee of Uttarakhand in Delhi led by the Delhi High Court Bar Association secretary Sandeep Sharma and his committed team of lawyers.

Meanwhile, the senior scribe and a proactive activist of Uttarakhand Ashutosh Negi – who for the very first time exposed this case of late Ankita Bhandari and went to police station initially and afterwards too with the aggrieved parents of Ankita while expressing his serious concern over the apathetic attitude of the SIT and the government agencies for not handing over the probe of such a sensitive matter to CBI and not disclosing the name of the VIP due to whom the entire controversy erupted and innocent Ankita Bhandari compelled to meet this tragic fate.

Negi said that this not only brought down the name of the so called double engine government who’ve given the false slogan of ” Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao”, whereas when our daughters are brought up , they meet such a shameful, obnoxious and gruesome end with the agencies allegedly protecting the culprits and not declaring the name if the VIP allegedly involved in the case.

Appealing the chief minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami to help disclose the name of the VIP and earn the goodwill and appreciation of the struggling people of the state, journalist Ashutosh Negi said that by allegedly protecting such dubious elements the so called double engine government is doing its massive harm and earning the wrath of the people of the state.

He asked the journalist not to pose any question about the Uttarakhand high court case as they have been restricted by the honourable court not speak a word on its proceedings.

The crying father and mother of late Ankita Bhandari who are demanding CBI enquiry in the case and also sitting on the Dharna at Rishikesh are badly demoralised and accusing the Uttarakhand govt of allegedly demolishing the resort and finishing the necessary evidences the charges denied by the probe agency SIT.

Having no faith in the ongoing SIT investigation the aggrieved parents demanded the CBI probe and stringent punishment to the guilty.

It may be recalled that the state government has given financial compensation to the bereaved family worth Rs 25 lakhs.

One of the proactive protestor and indefinite hunger striker Shakuntala Devi was lifted from the SIT IN and hunger strike precinct and taken to hospital earlier to be force fed with liquid food, fearing her determination to continue her indefinite hunger strike.
