UK CM Tirath Singh Rawat is Covid 19 positive. Says he has quarantined himself.
The controvertial chief minister of Uttarakhand Tirath Singh Rawat has been infected with Covid 19. This information has been given by him on his Twitter handle writing: My Corona test report has been positive. I am alright with no problems. I have isolated myself under the close monitoring of the doctors. Anyone who had been in my close contact should exercise full precaution and get themselves tested too, tweeted the Uttarakhand chief minister in the afternoon of Monday.
He also expressed his wishes for everyones’ good health. The chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat was closetted with his hundreds of fans, followers, n party’s rank and file from Dehradun to Delhi and various parts of the state including Ram Nagar in various official engagements.
It may be recalled that Tirath Singh Rawat has been sworn in as the tenth chief minister of Uttarakhand in place of the outgoing CM Trivendra Singh Rawat who had completed his four year tenure.
The BJP high command had surprised one and all by clearing his name who was not at all in the race for the chief minister putting at rest all speculations. It is believed that prime minister Narendra Modi has cleared the name of Tirath Singh Rawat after the outgoing chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat raised objections in the name of Satpal Maharaj, Anil Baluni n Dhan Singh Rawat etc.
The names of all the three contenders as above, were doing rounds for several days with no inkling of the name of the sitting MP from Pauri Garhwal Tirath Singh Rawat appearing, finally shocking and surprising one n all. Even Tirath Singh Rawat had admitted n said in several of his meetings that he had never thought even in dreams that he would be sworn in as the chief minister of Uttarakhand.
The former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat became the victim of his own MLAs who had approached the party high command requesting for his unceremonious exit as the image n reputation of the saffron party had gone down tremendously during his tenure with speculations of BJP likely to lose at the hustings in 2022 if they are fought under his leadership.
There were number of alleged charges of corruption, arrogance and not hearing to the party MLAs including giving enough weightage to the bureaucracy disregarding the lawmakers etc.
The outgoing CM Trivendra Rawat too had been infected with Covid 19 and was admitted in AIIMS for several days alongwith his wife and daughter while he was the CM. In addition to all this, the present CM Tirath Singh Rawat who is considered as an affable, soft spoken, non controvertial and down to earth CM has demoralised his party and the government by his few statements in various meetings viz equating prime minister Narendra Modi with Lord Rama, statement on ripped jeans inviting lot of criticism of the people, political leaders and the women community in social media, his statement terming Britishers as United State for ruling in India for 200 years and a controvertial statement on supply of her GH quality grains n Basmati rice by the govt saying that what is the govt’s fault if people with less children couldn’t get enough ration. They should have allegedly produced more children etc. Vedios of his irresponsible statements are doing rounds in social media making it viral and the newspapers giving wide coverage making mockery of him and the saffron party.
