Seventy years old attacked in Dugadda range of Pauri Garhwal by man eater while he was returning home !

The dreaded incidents of man eater attacks on human lives in Uttarakhand are not coming down with more and more human lives being succumbing to the predator’s attacks and senior citizens, women and children falling prey on regular basis. The Uttarankand’s Kumaon and Garhwal regions are worst affected. Man eaters prowling for human flesh even in towns n roadsides near villages n jungles are common sight.

There have several incidents of man eater leopards entering houses and opening wandering on roads posing direct threat to human population especially the school going children n women working in farm lands. Just yesterday Rakesh Dhasmana a resident of Lansdowne had posted a video following a tall leopard conveniently wandering on road leading to lansdowne. What is more worrisome n shocking is an incident of man eater attack on a seventy year old at Dugadda range hailing from Aldaba village in the evening of Sunday injuring him gravely on his hands. According to a latest news a seventy year old man was returning to his village Aldaba in Dugadda, range at evening hours when all of a sudden a man eater pounced on him and tried to make him the prey but fortunately the man raised noise and struggled with the man eater finally protecting himself from the dreaded clutches of the carnivore grievously injuring his hands.

On hearing the news the forest department’s team rescued the badly injured 70 year old man and got him admitted at the Kotdwar hospital where he is being treated. The victim is currently being treated ag Kotdwar’s base hospital reveal the news reports. There have been several incidents of man eater attacks at Dugadda and Lansdowne. Few months ago a woman had died due to a man eaters attack in Duggada when she was coming to her home after seeing off her son in a intermediate college.
