3736 people died with Covid 19 in 29 days in the month of May in Uttarakhand. Total pandemic deaths are 6,261

There had been 3736 Covid 19  fatalities during the last 29 days in the month of May with 14.83 % positivity rate as per the summary of SDC Foundation. During the last 24 hours there had been 99 deaths. On 17 th May, the Covid fatalities had been highest in a single day numbering 223. Though I still have doubts that the numbers might be more, not reported transparently by the state govt agencies, till now, the total casualties account for 6, 261 numbers in Uttarakhand. 

According to Dr. Anoop Nautiyal there have been constant decline in Covid 19 related casualties in the state. He tweets that the cases in the hilly state continue to drop with merely 1687 on Saturday. The total deaths too had been 99, quite less than compared to last few days deaths with the Covid death percentage coming down to 1.85 today. Similarly the positivity rate too has come down below 5% say Dr. Nautiyal former DG of 108 Ambulance services in Uttarakhand and a renowned socio political activist.
