16 important decisions passed in Cabinet committee meeting chaired by UK CM today that includes grant of 2 year child care leave to single male parent !

The Uttarakhand cabinet committee meeting chaired by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Shame today passed 16 important decisions considered to be extremely significant to all sections of the society. The cabinet committee took the most important decision regarding sanctioning of scholarships to the students of 6 th to 12 th class on the basis of the percentage marks brought by the students during examinations ranging from Rs. Rs 600 in Sixth class to Rs 1200 in 12 th class increasing Rs 100 on 600 from 7 th to 12 classes. Another important decision taken in this cabinet meeting was, regarding granting of two years child care leave facility to single male parents which was till now given to only women employees. The following decisions were stamped by the cabinet committee chaired by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami held on Thursday at Dehradun. (1) In order to avail the scholarship the students will now have to secure 70% marks from class 6 to class 10 th. The attendance of 75% have been made mandatory to become entitled to appear in examinations. (2) In the examinations of Boards the govt has given option for re – evaluation only in two subjects. The failed students and those who want to improve their percentage would be given opportunities to appear in the exams. (3) The fire Brigade department has been categorised in seven parts in UK as per the different cities under which every category will be accorded different facilities. (4) The BRCs and CRCs will be appointed in the state on the monthly salary of Rs 40000 per month via outsourcing agencies. (5) A manual ( niyamavali) has been formalised by the Tourism department in aerosports and paragliding etc under which a licence will have to be obtained failing which those operating these sports illegally will have to pay Rs.50000 as penalty. (6) In order to encourage eco tourism in UK only 10% of the income earned in eco tourism sector will be deposited in the treasury. Provision has been made to allow keeping the 90% part at the local level with local committee and 20% income at old tourism places will be deposited in treasury and Rs 5 crore or more earned to be deposited in treasury if it does not come into any use. (7) An important decision had been taken to adequately rehabilitate the displaced residents of Jamrani dam by allocating 300 acre land at Parag Farm in Udham Singh Nagar the resettlement and rehabilitation policy of which had been passed in the previous CC meeting. (8) A decision has been taken and passed regarding nominating a pollution control board officer in site selection committee of Stone Crusher Hot Mix Plant as directed by the High Court. A unique decision about giving two years child care leave to single male parent in the Cabinet committee meeting is being lauded immensely. Other decisions taken are : increase in per day fund of Rs. 30 to Rs. 80 pertaining to helpless cow’s welfare . The DMs can also fund them in their infrastructure development from now onwards etc.
