MDUPS activists sit on Dharna outside Patel Nagar police station demanding immediate arrest of the culprits who kidnapped the minor girl of Uttarakhand from Baljeet Nagar

Members of the MDUPS are squatting outside the Patel Nagar police station in the shape of a PROTEST PEACEFUL DHARNA despite the Police OF the said police station having traced the girl and got her medical examination done in the government hospital.

THE president of the Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Migrant Organisation Kamal Dhyani has complained about the alleged gross negligence by Patel Nagar police station of Delhi Police in the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor Uttarakhand girl in Baljit Nagar.

Expressing his annoyance he said that no report was filed on the kidnapped girl from 6th to 17th.

The First Information report was filed when on 18th the activists of Delhi based organisation Mahanagar Delhi Uttarakhand Migrant Organisation (MDUPS) led by Mr.Dhayani met the police officer at the police station and asked as to why the FIR was not lodged and minor girl not traced till yet. There was allegedly an uproar in the Police station.

According to the chief of MDUPS the police did not take any action in this serious case till the 24th. After the MDUPS after its members provided information about the kidnapped girl to the police the latte recovered the girl but surprisingly no arrests were made till yet.

According to the MDUPS
even after the girl’s medical report confirmed physical abuse, the police did not record her statement under Section 164 and postponed the case till Tuesday.

Even after the minor girl gave full information about the main accused in her statement, the case is being allegedly hushed up said the leader of MDUPS.

It is said that members of Metropolitan Delhi Uttarakhand Migrant Organization (MDUPS) have sat on an indefinite strike outside Patel Nagar police station against the gross negligence of the police,

The organization has appealed to the public to gherao the police station on Sunday in protest, peacefully to ensure that the culprits are immediately arrested and cases lodged against them under the stringent sections of the law, Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita.
