Yet another tragic accident on the Naugaon-Purola motorway: Car falls into ditch, driver dies on the spot

There is yet another tragic news coming in from Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand where a car plunged into the agricultural fields downwards killing the driver on the spot after taking several twists and turns in a speed and finally falling with a bang.
The car is badly damaged as if hammred by a pressing machine. According to a recent news a tragic road accident occurred on the Naugaon-Purola motor road on Friday afternoon.
At around 12 noon, an Alto car going from Naugaon to Purola lost control near Thali road and fell into the fields with a bang.
The driver, Akash alias Vishan (35), son of Sundar Lal, resident of Dabra village (Patti Garh/Khatal), died on the spot. It is being reported that the vehicle crashed on State Highway-17 and fell into the fields of Dwarseri area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the SDRF team immediately arrived at the scene and, after considerable effort, retrieved the body and handed it over to the police. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
The accident has caused chaos in the family of the deceased, and an atmosphere of mourning has spread throughout the area.
Uttarakhand has become a synonim of fatal accidents and not a day is passed when there are no accidents. But the moot point is why is our government not devising some credible ways to at least minimise these fatal accidents which are unfortunately on the surge.
