World Brahmin Federation meeting takes pivotal decisions at Uttarakhand Sadan

New Delhi. A significant meeting of ‘World Brahmin Federation ‘ (WBF), working for the concerns of Brahmin community on national and global platform was organized on 28th January at Uttarakhand Sadan, Chanakyapuri under the chairmanship of its national President Pandit KC Pandey in the presence of Vice Chairman Pandit R S Goswami, National General Secretary (Organization) Pt. Vinod Pandey, National General Secretary Pt. K N Prakash Sharma, National Youth President Pt. Amber Swami, National Youth Unit General Secretary Pt. Manoj Gautam, President Delhi Pradesh Pt. Balbir Sharma and office bearers associated with the organization from various states of the country including its local unit office bearers and active members.

Based on the unanimous decision with a voice vote by the Core Committee and various state units in the meeting organized to strengthen the World Brahmin Federation at the global and national level and to give a new direction, Late Pandit Mange Ram Sharma (Babuji), who was the founder and chairman of WBF, after his death, his son Pandit Shashikant Sharma was unanimously elected as the New Chairman of the organization.

The above announcement was made by the Core Committee member Dr. Radhey Shyam Sharma (former Chancellor of Doon University, Guru Jambheshwar and Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Hisar and Sirsa respectively).

The former Vice Chairman RS Goswami, who was spiritually associated with the organization for the last thirty years, resigned from the post with a pledge to work selflessly for the organization in order to bring about a credible change and strengthen the organisation. In his place, Pandit Sukhveer Sharma, who has been working dedicatedly and with perseverance for the Sangh for the last three decades, was declared the new Vice Chairman of the organization by Core Committee member Dr. Radhe Shyam Sharma on the unanimous consent of the present organization office bearers present in the meeting.

Apart for this development a unanimous decision was also taken to extend the tenure of the organization’s National President Pandit KC Pandey for another one year and to maintain the status quo in the context of other office bearers of state and local units.

In the beginning, the National President Pandit KC Pandey welcomed all the WBF officials and officials and members of other state units present from different states of the country. The meeting of the Federation was organized for the first time by late WBF Founder and Chairman. It is being organized after the departure of Pt. Mange Ram Sharma (Babu Ji).

On the occasion of the meeting organized, two minutes silence was observed for the peace of the holy souls departed souls Shri Mange Ram Sharma, Shri Sham Lal Sharma, father of Kailash Pati Sharma, Sr. VP WBC, and Smt Push past Goswami, Mother of R. S. Goswami, VP, WBF.

Various state officials of the country expressed their pleasure by honoring the newly elected Chairman, Vice Chairman and National President by draping them with robes, wearing turbans, presenting them with flower bunches and welcoming them with thunderous applause including placing them on appropriate seats.

In the meeting held, ideas were expressed by the union officials to sincerely strengthen the organization on the national and global front and to give it a new energetic direction.

Special emphasis was laid that the Vishwa Brahmin Sangh has been formed by the people of the society for selfless service.

We all will have to join our society sincerely, retire from politics, make sacrifices for the continuous upliftment of our society and the interest of the country. We will have to work in the interest of the society by continuing to move ahead with dedication on the path that Babu ji has given in the interest of the organization resolved everyone present in the meeting.

Need was also felt that Babuji’s name and picture will have to be given prominence for remembrance in organized meetings, published posters, banners etc. The knowledge of the future generation will have to be enhanced by giving importance to the work done by Babuji in the interest of society throughout his life as an inspiration including propagating his works and ideals.
In order to boost the efficiency and work area of ​​the organization, the number of officials and spokespersons at every level will have to be increased and their work area divided, simultaneously said the president of the Federation Mr. K. C. Pandey .

Convinced by enlightened Brahmin speakers, World Brahmin Association (WBF) has been witnessing national events to strengthen the organization on the international platform.

It may be recalled that in the year 2005 in London, 2007 in America and in subsequent years in Mauritius as well, impressive events were organized in the presence of hundreds of Brahmins. WBF also found resonance in the US Parliament as a matter of fact revealed Mr. K. C. Pandey.

He further said that on India, events were organized from time to time under the inspiration of Late Babu Ji in the presence of Atal Vihari Bajpai, Sheila Dixit and many other elite Brahmins. We wish that this sequence of events continues in the future for the upliftment of the society, as well.

As expressed by the speakers, Brahmins should be proud of being Brahmins. It is very important to tell the coming generation about the importance of Brahmins and the success, harmony and accomplishment achieved by different sections of the society due to the knowledge and education of Brahmins in every era. Brahmins have made an indelible contribution in the fields of religion, culture, art, literature, science and technology, politics and education.

Newly elected Chairman Pandit Shashikant Sharma and Vice Chairman Pandit Sukhveer Sharma expressed gratitude to all the present and Brahmin speakers and members stating that all the organizational units will have to forget their mutual differences in order to fulfill Babuji’s wishes and thoughts dutifully. A lot can be done even without a post. Goodwill is necessary. Brahmins have been thinking about the welfare of the entire society since ancient times, goodwill should be maintained resolved one and a present in the meeting.

At the concluding session the organization National General Secretary Pandit Vinod Pandey sent congratulations to the newly elected Chairman, Vice Chairman and National President.
