War of Rawats goes on in Uttarakhand politics with Dr. Harak Singh Rawat saying you can trust a sieve ( Chalni) for once but not Harish Rawat as a politician

Rawats have been extremely prominent in Uttarakhand’s politics as they have dominated the scene during the last twenty years since Uttarakhand achieved separate entity.

For instance there had been three chief Ministers of the Himalayan state representing two national parties viz BJP and Congress like Harish Rawat, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat.

As ministers also Rawats’ have be quite prominent like Satpal Singh Rawat aka Maharaj, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Dhan Singh Rawat etc, whose name appeared for chief minister’s post from time to time though as speculation.

But despite the efflorescence of their names in Uttarakhand politics they could not see each other eye to eye replacing each other as CMs as in Uttarakhand recently when Tirath Singh Rawat replaced Trivendra Singh Rawat in BJP finally both of them having been replaced by youthful Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Similarly, during Congress rule Satpal Singh Rawat, a Congress heavy weight then and minister under Harish Rawat in Uttarakhand joined BJP annoyed and frustrated by Harish Rawat’s alleged misdeeds and callous treatment meted out to him with Harish Rawat ridiculing him now terming him as a culprit of democracy and Uttarakhand as he was the one who not only destabilised his government in 2016 but is today searching for Congress DNA to rejoin Congress party with other MLAs, as written by the veteran Congress leader in his Facebook n Twitter post.

As this is not enough the fight between other Rawat’s again between Harish Rawat and cabinet minister in BJP government Dr. Harak Singh Rawat is on the highest pedestal with Dr. Rawat accusing the former as the most untrust worthy politician in Uttarakhand saying that one can trust a strainer/ sieve ” CHALNI, but not Harish Rawat.

He said I don’t know as to whether he will betray on personal level but as a politician he can’t be trusted at any cost come what may. The water poured over the strainer” chalni, can for a moment stop going down from the holes but Rawat can’t be trusted though the strainer can be of trust, said Harak Singh Rawat.

Highly critical of Harish Rawat once his close friend, today his arch rival, Uttarakhand cabinet minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat says that he is the person who has, stopped so low to allegedly frame me in several false and fabricated cases n character assassination and had I been not been honest in my deals, ( however, sounds ironical), I would have been jailed by him by now.

Rawat tried his best as CM to pin me in several cases but I was clean hence remained protected, said Dr Rawat while interacting with media.

Dr. Harak Singh Rawat accusing Harish Rawat of trying to take revenge from him by allegedlytrying to frame him in cases with women etc, added that he has several proofs with him in this regard.

He added as politicians we may have ideological differences and may contest from separate political parties but stooping so low to allegedly unsuccesfully frame his rival in cases is something beyond his expectation as did by Harish Rawat said Dr. Harak Singh Rawat will speaking to media in Uttarakhand.

He even went to the extent of saying that it’s only because of Harish bhai that 9 MLAs had left Congress n joined BJP in 2017, badly annoyed with his style of functioning.

Regarding his recent deliberations with the leader of the opposition and Congress leader Pritam Singh, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat said that no politics has transpired between both of them except talks regarding some projects n works of his area.

In the past too opposition leaders have been meeting ministers with work as he had met Khanduruji when he was CM and me Congress leader of opposition.

When pressed by a reporter about speculations of his joining Congress Dr. Rawat said why me, may be Pritam Singh is joining BJP as he has tremendous differences with Harish Rawat in Congress?
