Uttarakhand Specially abled performance at Mavlankar Hall was outstanding on 4 th April , 2026
A magnificent glittering cultural evening of the specially abled performers with outstanding talents and the Mavlankar Hall completely packed with everyone enjoying to the hilt was held yesterday evening .
Majority of these specially abled artists hailed from the interior villages of Uttarakhand with eminent musician Rajendra Chouhan, the Swar Kokila of Uttarakhand , his better half Kalpana Chouhan and the president award winner teacher and a renowned artist Rakhi Bisht giving them a prestigious stage in the national capital where twenty outstanding performers were also felicitated with a citation and a trophy including a feeling of empowerment. And belongingness.
The grand cultural evening titled the Uttarakhand Festival of Specially Abled was jointly organised by Parvatiya Sanskritik Sanstha and Ravisha Foundation , sponsored by six other social organisations. The performers elicited tremendous encouraging response from the audience who enjoyed the event to the hilt.
The twenty artists in all which included the specially disabled musicians also were felicitated by legendary singer of Uttarakhand Kalpana Chouhan whose names are : Nirmala Devi , Rekha Mehta ,Prema Viswas , Surendra Lal , Vijay Bisht , Praveen Negi , Neeraj Singh Rawat , Rajat Kumar Panchal, Nilima Roy , Sunil Kumar , Nirmal Kumar , Anjali , Mukesh Kumar, Dhan Singh , Manas Pandey , Kalpana Chauhan , Mahesha Nand , Roshan Lal and Pooran Singh. The entire event was very dexterously moderated by Rakhi Bisht and Rajendra Chouhan who also conducted the musical evening as its director.
The Mavlankar Hall was jampacked.
The CEO of Delhi Olympics Association Kuldeep Vats was the chief guest in this group cassiin who was felicited by Mr. Batra, Ms. Rakhi Bisht and Rajendra Chouhan. The evening was indeed memorable.
