November 5 — On the sacred and emotionally profound occasion of Guru Purnima, a deep and indescribable feeling arose in the innermost corner of my heart — one that words can hardly capture.
By the grace of the Almighty, I have been blessed with the opportunity to adopt and serve two villages — Bhadrasu (Pujar Gaon) and Jhanaun in District Tehri Garhwal. This service has become the most sacred and spiritually fulfilling accomplishment of my life so far.
To serve these villages, I have designed a three-phase development plan:
1️⃣ First Phase: Complete restructuring of all houses, ensuring modern amenities for every age group, especially the elderly — so that they may experience the comfort and care of an “old age home” while staying in their own homes.
2️⃣ Second Phase: Promoting horticulture and millet cultivation as sustainable sources of livelihood — with a firm resolve to achieve self-reliance and prosperity through local resources.
3️⃣ Third Phase: Focusing on value addition of horticultural and agricultural produce to enhance revenue inflow and strengthen the local economy.
On this journey of service, the affection, blessings, and heartfelt respect received from Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami , have left an indelible mark on my life.
The positive transformation taking place in these villages has been briefly showcased in the three-minute presentation (PPT) mentioned above.
Being a part of this noble initiative — the Pravasi Uttarakhandi Sammelan — was a moment of immense pride and complete inner satisfaction for me.
