A Mahurat shot of the new Uttarakhand movie titled “Chakraviu” based on the script authored and directed by the well acclaimed first woman director of the hilly state Sushila Rawat was on Monday inaugurated by the district magistrate of Champawat Vineet Tomar in a simple function at a historic ancient Veer Ghatochkach temple at Gram Chowki in Champawat district.
Champawat has been identified and famous nationally after its one of the outstanding young singer n musician Pawan Rajan won the prestigious Indian Idol trophy after massive competition.
The production of this regional movie in local dialect is under the banner of JODHA FILMS.
Being produced by Sanjay Joshi and Sudhir Dhar, CHAKRAVIU is likely to be shot at various serene hilly locations and towns of Champawat as well as of other beautiful n attractive locations of Uttarakhand.
The movie scripted by eminent woman director of Uttarakhand Sushila Rawat is based on the story of Hindi Drama “Prem Aahuti”, which has been authored by her keeping the Shakespere drama OTHELO at the centrestage.
Apart from the story, the lyrics and dialogues of this movie have also been written by Dr. Sushila Rawat.
Prominent serene locations of the movie “Chakraviu” are beautiful valleys of Ghatochkach temple area, Tea Gardens, Malli Chaavki, Paitee, Devalikhal and lohaghat’s attractive Baapru, Marorakhand and Abbot Mount locations.
The various characters of Chakraviu are viz. Rajesh Naungain, Parmender Rawat, YUCA award recipient, Ranbir Chouhan, Khushal Singh Bisht, Hem Pant, Kuldeep Aswal, Ajay Bisht, Pradeep Naithani, Jeetendra Pratap Singh, Vandana Sundriyal, Bhaavna Negi, Pinki Naithani, Kiran Lakhera etc.
The music director of the movie is Rajendra Chouhan who is credited with giving music to several Uttarakhand regional films whereas the choreographer is Ankush Saklani.
The melodious singers of the movie are Kalpana Chouhan, known as the Kokila of Uttarakhand, Rohin Chouhan, Shivani Bhagwat and Amit Khare.
The cameraman is Dhruv Tyagi. The production controller of the movie is Mukund Dhar and Neeraj Joshi, the team leader.
Those prominent personalities present on the ocassion of the Mahurat Shot were well known enterpreneur and social activist Narendra Ladwal, Sunita Ladwal, Sanjay Joshi etc.
The producer of movie has ensured that all the necessary Covid related protocols will be strictly adhered to during the shooting of the movie.
