The marriage of the second daughter of union minister of state for Defence and Tourism Ajay Bhatt and Nainital MP was solemnised at Delhi Cantt Parade Ground on Sunday evening with full pomp and show at a glittering function. The minister’s first daughter’s marriage was solemnised fews months ago at Haldwani. About two thousand guests from Delhi and Uttarakhand participated in this glittering evening. The minister invited cross section of the people of various social, cultural and musical organisations of Uttarakhand active in Delhi and NCR including journalists, writers, intellectuals and eminent political personalities in central and state governments including bureaucrats. Among the prominent political personalities and those at the helm in the government were Vice President Jagdeep Dhankad, union defence minister Rajnath Singh, Union minister of Law Arjun Meghwal, union minister Anurag Thakur, The BJP national chief J.P.Nadda, former HRD minister Dr.Murlimanohar Joshi, former governor of Maharashtra and former Uttarakhand CM Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, union minister V.K.Singh, cabinet minister of Uttarakhand ( forests) Subodh Uniyal, former union Education minister and former CM Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Dr.Shankaracharya and saints believing in saffron party ideology, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami , state governors, some MLAs of Uttarakhand, senior party office bearers , RSS senior activists and cross section of the people. Several police officers of Uttarakhand origin were also invited.
