Two day vaccination camp at PCI premises on 11th n 12 th June
The Press Club of India has finalised an arrangement with Apollo Hospitals, Delhi, to hold a two-day vaccination camp at Press Club of India on June 11 and 12 (Friday and Saturday), 2021. This arrangement have be done for the press club of India members , their family members and non member journalists above 18 years onwards.
Vaccination will be free of cost, and the jabs administered will be Covishield (Astra Zeneca). The camp will be held from 10 AM to 4.00 PM on both days said the PCI sources.
This has been made possible by the generous and prompt contribution from Omidyar Network India (ONI), one of the biggest impact investors in India. The PCI management is grateful for their support and look forward to a long term partnership with them. The PCI appreciated the contribution of Jajabor Brand Consultancy, who volunteered to put this drive together and bring partners on board. As partners from the PR fraternity the PCI lauded their proactive outreach for the press community in dire times.
According to PCI, the vaccination camp is available to all our members and their dependents and non-member journalists above the age of 18. There will be 300 shots open on both days, therefore PCI encourages all to come to PCI and get themselves and their families vaccinated.
Those members and their dependents who need second doses are also welcome said the PCI statement.
The president of the PCI Umakant Lakhera n it’s management committee has requested all to register in advance so that we can ensure members, their families, and non-member journalists face no inconvenience when they arrive to get their jabs and all Covid-19adhered to. The vaccination will be done at the PCI club premises.
Let’s be result oriented rather than result menifeters. Releasing funds without monitoring its relevant use is making funds available for corrupt hands. Therefore, it is high time to work for ourself rather than for media.
