Harish Rawat led Uttarkashi Congress activists burn the effigy of BJP government for misusing the central investigating agencies
The veteran Congress leader, member CWC and formed chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat who is in the tour of Uttarkashi has alongwith hundreds of Congress activists and local leaders including good number of women burnt the effigy of the central government led by the BJP.
Today Harish Rawat led a protest demonstration at Uttarkashi raising anti BJP government slogans at Hanuman Chowki and burnt an effigy criticizing the BJP government for misusing the central premier investigating agencies like CBI, ED and IT to harras the opposition leaders especially the leaders of the Nehru Gandhi family. Criticizing the BJP led NDA government for lodging fake cases against Sonia , Rahul Gandhi n others terming the action as conspiratorial and vindictive Harish Rawat said that The ED’s action and filing of chargesheet against CPP Chairperson Mrs. #SoniyaGandhi ji and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi ji is extremely unfortunate. The vendetta politics going on in the country and accusing the opposition is another example of the BJP’s low mentality. The Gandhi-Nehru family has made unprecedented contributions and sacrifices in the freedom struggle and in building the country. Entangling that family in false cases is a disgusting example of a conspiratorial mentality.We will oppose this mentality and also unite the country with this important part of the fight to save democracy and enhance the Constitution said Rawat through a post on social media. The local MLA Vikram Singh Negi was also involved in this protest demonstration who marched with Harish Rawat and others in Uttarkashi raising anti BJP slogans for lodging false cases against Sonia and Rahul including Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey.
In Dehradun too hundreds of Congress activists protested outside the ED office climbing over the iron gates jointly led by Uttarakhand Congress Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana, Garima Dasauni registering their protests against the registration of cases against Sonia, Rahul Gandhi, Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey terming the action as politically vindictive and vengeful.
