Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh castigates Azad for justifying his treachery every minute ! Azad says he is a leader of no relevance, only busy in planting stories !
After quitting the Congress party the veteran leader, former union minister, chief minister of J&K, several times Rajya Sabha MP, CWC member n former general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad has continued his tirade against Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi accusing both of them of compelling him to leave the grand old party with whom he was associated for last five decades having worked in close proximity with the five PMs right from Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Narsimha Rao, Dr. Manmohan Singh including Sanjay Gandhi n Sonia Gandhi but was finally compelled to quit it.
He accused Rahul Gandhi for working on the advise of inexperienced and amateur coterie destroying the inner party democracy by sidelining the veteran leaders, particularly targetting him after he wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi to reform the grand old party.
He also accused the Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi saying that she consulted senior n experienced leaders till from 1998 to 2004 but after Rahul took over they were sidelined and thereafter she worked on Rahul’s advise not even having time to convene the highest decision making body CWC, meeting chairing it from abroad. Kindly recall she along with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi is abroad these days for treatment and had convened the CWC via video conference from a foreign country presiding over it.
Ghulam Nabi Azad has also lauded prime minister Narendra Modi for appreciating him in one of his speeches in Parliament today.
Meanwhile, the chief of the communication and media department of AICC general secretary incharge Jai Ram Ramesh has today castigated Ghulam Nabi Azad accusing him of justifying his treachery every minute running a slander campaign against Congress and its leaders.
In his tweet Jai ram Ramesh wrote : After such a long career, courtesy entirely the party he’s been tasked to slander, by giving interviews indiscriminately. Mr Azad diminishes himself further. What’s he afraid of that he’s justifying his treachery every minute every minute? He can be easily exposed but why stoop to his level? tweeted Jai Ram Ramesh.
On the other hand Ghulam Nabi Azad ridiculed Congress leader Jairam Ramesh saying that he is the leader of no standing and relevance. He is just a product of tweets being active in social media only planting stories. I ask which state he belongs to? Nobody knows it. Ramesh’s only job is to plant stories said Azad.
It may be recalled that Ghulam Nabi Azad himself had never been elected and had represented himself in Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra etc being in close proximity to Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi n family till he wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi for reforming the party favouring a non Nehra Gandhi family member becoming the party chief.
