The highly exasperated member of parliament from Prayagraj on BJP ticket, former UP education minister and daughter of one time political stalwart Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, Professor Rita Bahuguna joshi has questioned the entry of the former BSP MLA with an allegedly criminal background Jitendra Singh Bablu in Bhartiya Janata Party ceremoniously by its state chief Swatantra Singh despite the hard fact that a criminal case has been registered against him in connection with burning of her house in 2009 in Lucknow when she was the state Congress president.

On hearing the news of the admission of the former BSP MLA Jitendra Singh Bablu ceremoniously by the state party chief Swatantrata Singh in BJP Lucknow office, angered and furious former mayor of Allahabad, state Congress chief and education minister UP under Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, now Prayagraj MP, Rita Bahuguna Joshi has categorically expressed her resentment over the entry of the former BSP MLA and state minister in BJP levelling allegations of burning her Lucknow house on 17 th July, 2009 along with his supporters, when she was the president of state Congress, the case of which is still under progress.

In a vedio message going viral in social media she expressed her resentment on this issue saying that though BJP welcomes people and leaders of all shades and across wide spectrum in the party but people against whom criminal cases are registered as against Jitendra Singh Bablu, the party should not entertain such people.

I am sure that the national party chief JP Nadda might not be aware of the former BSP MLA’s past criminal n dubious background. I will bring this fact to his knowledge and appeal to him to revoke this decision by cancelling his BJP membership from the party forth with said Rita Bahuguna Joshi. She added that she will meet the national president JP Nadda as well as the state president Swatantra Singh to bring these facts to their notice ensuring that Jitendra Singh Babloo is expelled from the party by revoking the earlier decision of Uttar Pradesh party chief Swatantra Singh.
