NEET PG TESTS TO BE CONDUCTED IN 11 TH AUGUST, SC REJECTS CANCELLATION OF NEET UG TESTS RESULTS

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi has announced that the NEET PG examination shall now be conducted on 11 th August, 2024 rescheduling the exam date which was earlier scheduled for 22 nd August.

The Notice issued by the NBEMS categorically says that in continuation of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi notice dated 22.06.2024 , the conduct of NEET – PG 2024 examination has been rescheduled.

The NEET – PG EXAMS shall now be conducted on 11 th August , 2024 in two shifts.

The cut of date for the purpose of eligibility to appearing the NEET – PG 2024 shall continue to be 15 August 2024.

The NBEMS notice adds that further details regarding the conduct of examinations in two shifts shall be published on NBEMS website https://natviard.edu.in in the due course.

Meanwhile, the Union Education ministry has submitted an affidavit in Supreme Court urging not to cancel the NEET – UG results n holding of re NEET examinations as thousands of students have brought good results after hard and dedicated preparations and cancellation would amount to playing with their Academic future.

The government said that till now it has not been established that the NEET paper Leaks have happened in all the states of the country. It had been in few states . If the results/ exams are cancelled n re NEET exams held then this will be a betrayal with lakhs of students who have brought good marks after very hard n dedicated preparations etc.

The Supreme Court has reserved its judgement for 8 July reveal sources.

According to NEET law : Opposing the calls for ‘Re-NEET’ and cancelling the results of the NEET-UG 2024 examination, a petition has been filed by 56 Gujarat-based medical students in the Supreme Court for not re-conducting NEET afresh. The petitioners have sought for the continuation of the medical admission based on the present results, excluding those who have adopted unfair means in the examination etc .
