Lokesh Gairola of Uttarakhand Uthan Prayogshala meets Maharashtra governor B. S. Koshiyari
There are always gentlemen in the society who even after retirement dedicate their energy, enthusiasm, intelligence and efforts to work for the upgradation of the society by serving the hapless, needy and economically deprived sections, especially children of the lower middle class and those living in rural areas. And one such dedicated gentleman is a retired senior bureaucrat Lokesh Gairola who after retirement has chosen to impart english education free of cost to the students of Uttarakhand villages in Rudraprayag and twelve other districts of Uttarakhand.
He took the cudgels of this important responsibility on his shoulders with like minded colleagues and arranged funding as well as teachers to impart English education and other literary programmes to several government school students’ of Rudraprayag to start with and now in all the 13 districts of the Himalayan state, also opening a Website of “UTHAN PROGSHALA, further associating more and more like minded friends n colleagues in this noble work to make better citizens of the country in future.
He had been working hard with immense sincerely for the last four years, even during challenging Covid times.
Today, English is a significant language that work as the barrier for students of Uttarakhand in securing good jobs, especially in towns, cities n metropolises lacking in various interviews n competitions due to uncompetitive ness in English despite being outstanding n intelligent. The basic objective of Lokesh Gairola is to make them fluent in speaking as well as writing English generating in them a special knack of confidence in English language.

Meanwhile, the other day Lokesh Gairola and his dedicated team members met the governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and presented him a copy of “UUP DARPAN” highlighting two year journey of Uttarakhand Utthan Prayogshala.
The Maharashtra governor appreciated their efforts and services and wished them good luck. The book was earlier released on 13 th March at Noida Club in grand release function with Uttarakhand Uthan Prayogshala holding 1200 sessions in various districts of Uttarakhand.
