Jagjeet Singh Dallewal writes to PM with signature in blood urging to fulfill all the demands of farmers or be ready to accept his sacrifice
The prominent veteran Kisan leader of Punjab Jagjeet Singh Dallewal who is on the 16 th day hunger strike at the Punjab- Haryana Khanauri border has written a letter to the prime minister Narendra Modi signing it with his blood saying that he should either fulfil his promises of 2011 given to the farmers about fulfilling their demands including the MSP or be prepared to accept my sacrifice.
The condition of veteran farmers leader who is on the 16 th day of his fast unto death is badly deteriorating and his supporters have said in a video to join him at Khanauri border as they are afraid that he may be arrested this midnight or may be force fed.
After the letter sent by Dallewal to the prime minister the farmers of Punjab, Haryana n UP etc have given a call for strengthening the farmers movement by congregating at Khanauri border in large numbers.
Now on Friday the farmers all over the country will burn the effigies in protest at the border, and other parts of the country including in Haryana and Punjab and also protest in large numbers said the spokesman of the movement.
On Friday the renowned leader Rakesh Tikaith and other leaders of Samyukt Kisan Morcha will meet Dallewal at Khanauri border. The morcha has given a call to organise a big protest at Khanauri border on the completion of ten months of the movement.
On the next day, 14 December thousands of farmers will match towards Delhi. There will be tractor matches all over the country on 16 December and on 18 December there will be train roko movement except Punjab in all the states of the country.
Dallewal has also appealed to countrymen and farmers at the pan India level that if not now then never.
He and his lieutenants appealed that at least one member of every farmer’s family should reach the Khanauri border in support of the farmers demands.
A doctor from USA namely Dr.Karan Jatwani has reached Khanauri border to monitor the health of Dallewal who is in the 16th day hunger strike.
Dallewal who old and weak has lost 12 kg of weight and his health condition is further deteriorating.
If not attended properly medically he may suffer cardiac arrest or serious neuro issues including severe neurological disorders.
There are reports that he may allegedly be arrested during midnight.There are reports that on Thursday the effigies of PM, Agriculture minister and the CMs of BJP ruled states will also be burnt in protest at Khanauri border.
