An Innova vehicle lost control and fell into a river in the Devprayag area. Upon receiving information about the accident, the SDRF, local police, and flood rescue teams launched an intensive search and rescue operation at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the occupants of the vehicle are believed to be residents of Rajasthan. The SDRF and police rescued a seriously injured person and sent him to the hospital, while two bodies have been recovered so far. The search for other missing people is ongoing.
On the instructions of SDRF Commander Shri Arpan Yaduvanshi, teams from Byasi, Srinagar, and Dhalwala are jointly engaged in relief and rescue operations.
