Hema devi sent to Nari Niketan after son expresses inability to take care of her

A 75 year old women Hema devi with her badly infected leg found wandering on the roads of Andheri West in Mumbai after the tiresome efforts of Uttarakhand police on the directives of SSP Almora, Pradeep Kumar Rai on CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s orders when he took cognisance of the viral video few days ago has now been admitted in “Nari Niketan”, Almora, after her son with a handicapped wife and children with poor financial background has expressed his inability to look after her till she is fully recovered. However, the relatives of the woman say that they will look after her after she is, fully recovered in the Nari Niketan. She is now being treated there say sources after the police sent her in Nari Niketan after bringing her from Mumbai to Almora locating her after intensive search for three days with the help of an actor producer in Mumbai Dan Singh Rajpoot and Meenakshi Sawant of Human Rights organisation finally locating her on 14 th January, 2022. The Uttarakhand police team finally reached Almora with Hema Devi on Monday after three days of her intensive search in Mumbai. However on reaching Bhikiasain Almora her son expressed his inability to look after his mother due to his wife being handicapped n children studying and he earning meagrely as a labourer. However, he said that after his mother is fully cured, he’ll be taking care of her. The police had no option but to get her admitted in Nari Niketan where she is also being medically treated under special care.
