Harish Rawat objects to CM Rawat’s equating PM with Lord Rama
The former chief minister of Uttarakhand and general secretary of All India Congress Committee n In-charge of Punjab Harish Rawat has today objected to the statement of the newly appointed chief minister of Uttarakhand Tirath Singh Rawat who allegedly equated prime minister Narendra Modi with Lord Rama.
In a statement he said that in future prime minister Narendra Modi will be praised as Lord Rama. In a vedio released in his Twitter handle on Monday evening veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat while ridiculing the statement of the Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat equating prime minister Narendra Modi with Lord Rama said that though it is understandable that glamourising prime minister is quite obvious particularly if a BJP chief minister has got a new job. He may go few steps ahead praising him. But if you will equate a human being with our dieties ( Araadhya) viz Lord Rama and Krishna saying that he will be worshipped like them in the future is something not acceptable.
It may be recalled that the Uttarakhand’s tenth chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat had in his first public meeting in a Netra Kumbh programme in Haridwar equated prime minister Narendra Modi as Lord Rama saying that J st like during the earlier times Lord Rama was worshipped for all the good work done by him for the society, similarly in the future the same thing will happen for our prime minister too. He lauded the prime minister Narendra Modi for all the good work he had done for the country including raising India’s head high in the entire world further adding that no world leader earlier praised or respected Indian head of the state but now the situation has changed because of prime minister Narendra Modi who has created a new India. He catagorically said that as Lord Rama is being worshipped for all his outstanding deeds for the society, prime minister Narendra Modi too will be worshipped in future creating quite a controversy.
