Sunil Negi: The shooting of the Garhwali MOVIE KANDALI will finally end in the last week of this month after several days of hectic engagement of the dextrous producer VSM Air Vice Marshal Rajesh Bhandari and the Director of the movie Shiv Narayan Singh Rawat.
The major part of the movie showing the early life of the heroine as a child was shot in a school and village in Silori in Eidwalsiun Patti, under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal district with the shooting commencing everyday at eight in the morning and concluding at eight in the night.
The entire crew members were served lunch at the shooting location to save the time schedule and shoot the major scenes.
The movie ” Kandali has Prashant as a hero who represents an impressive personality and dextrous acting talent with glamorous appearance while the heroine of the movie Smriti Rawat is credited for being Miss Uttarakhand with good height and pleasing personality, beautiful in appearance , best suited to be the heroine of the movie playing the role of a SP Pauri Garhwal with Prashant as District Magistrate.
The unit got total permission from the film division of Uttarakhand thus facing no hardships except in some cases.
The entire camera crew of the movie is from South Bala G and a good number of actors, professionals as well as newcomers are acting in this movie.
The childhood role of KANDALI was very seriously and laudably played by a little girl who impressed one and all. She is the daughter of the PA of cabinet minister of Uttarakhand Satpal Maharaj.The other actors on the sets were Mr. Rajesh Bhandari, ( also producer) Shiv Narayan Singh Rawat,( Director ) 
Prashant, ( Hero) Smriti Rawat ( Heroine, Miss Uttarakhand ), Madhu Rawat, Mrs Rajesh Bhandari, Mrs and Mr. Kiran Pal, Padmendra Rawat, Kusum Chouhan, Sunil Negi, Padmashree Kalyan Singh Rawat, Jagmohan Singh Negi, advocate, Mr. Uniyal, Dr. Kusum Bhatt, Gaurav Gairola etc. Mr. Pankaj and Neeraj were assisting the Director Shiv Narayan Singh Rawat with their directorial talent. The film apart from being shot at Siroli village was shot at several other nearby and surrounding magnificent locations of Pauri Garhwal including five mesmerising songs. The choreographer Salman and his entire team and the fight masters were called from Delhi and Mumbai who gave their best to accord best presentations.
The movie after its shooting will take another five six months finally coming to various theatres of Uttarakhand, Delhi NCR and other states of the country including Mumbai, the Bollywood metropolis.
Sunil Negi senior journalist played the role of a Judge, this being his debut in this movie as an actor , shot in one of the courts in Pauri Garhwal district.
