Former Uttarakhand CM Major Genl. ( R) Khanduri relieved from AIIMS, Rishikesh after infected from Covid few days before

Eighty eight years old former chief minister of Uttarakhand ( Retd.) major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri has been relieved from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh and is back home. Major General Khanduri was infected with Covid 19 virus two days ago and was admitted in AIIMS. His son the Congress leader who had contested from Pauri Garhwal parliamentary seat in 2019 against BJP MP Tirath Singh Rawat , has given this news of his father having been relieved from AIIMS through a brif FB post and a picture helping his, ailing father wear shoes. Manish Khanduri was with his ailing father all along. He thanked his Father’s well wishers for their good wishes and prayers while he was in the hospital. Major general Khanduri has been advised complete rest for fee more days. Kindly recall that major General ( R) Bhuvan Chand Khanduri was the chief minister of Uttarakhand from 2007 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2012. He was member of parliament from 16 Lok Sabha representing Pauri Garhwal constituency and was popular union minister of NHAI and transport during the tenure of Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee earning all round accolades for various national highway projects including Golden Quadrilateral network connecting several major industrial, agricultural and and cultural centres of India.
