Former CM Trivendra Rawat climbs on a huge boulder to save himself when a huge wild elephant appeared before his entourage

In Uttarakhand wild animals especially elephants, leopards, even man eaters n wild beers are very commonly seen and human lives are in constant danger. There have been good number of predators’ attack on human beings with these carnivores posing direct threat to human lives in interior villages, human habitats near jungles, on roadsides and in agricultural fields where women go to work on daily basis.

Senior citizens, children, n women folks are the constant victims of the man eater leopards n tigers in Uttarakhand’ s Garhwal and Kumaon regions. Attacks of wild beers are also witnessed in interior villages close to jungles and wild elephants coming in roads usually witnessed in Rishikesh and Dehradun roads while coming towards these townships.

The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat along with his staff has to confront an unusual experience at Dehradun when a wild elephant all of a sudden appeared in front of his vehicle, fortunately passing speedily by the side of his n other vehicles finally turning inside the jungle area and pacified on hearing lots of noise of shouting by the frightened travellers n his staff including security personal.

The wild elephant terrified one and all present there compelling former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat along with his secretary n security personal climbing on a huge boulder in desperation fearing attack from the wild elephant. However, fortunately the elephant too got frightened and took refuge behind the boulder on which Rawat n others were standing.

After waiting for quite some time in the huge boulder when the security staff felt fully convinced that the wild elephant is on pacified mode, Rawat gathered enough courage and literally jumped from the boulder along with others on the assurances n calls by his staff and onlookers, some even felling down with bang and safeguarded themselves.

It was quite a real adventure, the former CM was confronted with, finally heaving a great sigh of relief. There was quite a commotion as terrified people alongwith the former CM not taking any chance to wait for the wild elephant to become paranoid as it usually happens when these dangerous animals go out of control out of desperation.

In Rishikesh n Dehradun roads passing through the jungles several incidents of wild elephants coming on the road in groups have been witnessed n even several cars damaged including harm to human lives. There have also been instances of elephants getting killed on railway lines by running trains in Rishikesh.
