Had prime minister ever said that since Bofors scam had been committed earlier we should also do wrong things, questioned Rawat while speaking to the reporters. Any intellectual, right thinking person, and the constitutional expert will never agree to what former speaker n minister Prem Aggrawal said was right. Regarding a question of his consent in these appointments Trivendra Rawat disclosed that the concerned file had come to him for my consent but I had transparently written that the appointments can be done but transparency should be strictly adhered to, in these appointments. I had been in active political life for the last fifteen years including a Minister n CM. I had been extremely conscious in taking transparent decisions ensuring that nepotism n favouritism never comes into consideration added former Uttarakhand CM Rawat. The elected representatives should never favour their family members or near n dear ones but should work transparently for the good n well being of the general masses terming the statement of former Speaker Govind, Singh Kunjwal full of proud, with haughty attitude. He also clarified that whether it’s President House, or Governor’s House where the money comes from Public exchequer transparency should be strictly adhered to adding that public representatives are not the family representative but people’s representative.
