The car of the former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat met with an accident this evening on Delhi Dehradun Highway in Kankankhera police station area. The veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat was returning back to Dehradun from Delhi after attending some important returns in Delhi. The accident occured when the driver of Harish Rawat’s tried to avoid a vehicle that suddenly came in front, his car went out of control and collided with other vehicles, and then hit the divider. The hit was so impactful that the front portion of the car was damaged and Harish Rawat ,though safe luckily confronted powerful pushes.As per the news all the people in the vehicle, including Rawat, are safe and did not suffer any serious injuries. As soon as the information was received, Kankarkheda police reached the spot, security arrangements were tightened and immediately another vehicle was arranged and the former Chief Minister was safely sent to his destination.
