Fatal accidents the order of the day in Uttarakhand, three tragic deaths after a vehicle plunged into deep gorge 250 metres down in Garhwal

The fatal tragedies are not coming to an end in Uttarakhand and dreaded accidents are not receding at all. There is a huge question mark on the government as hundreds of people have list their precious lives with no credible contribution or role of the concerned departments visible. Not a day passes when fatal accidents don’t occur and vehicles do not fall in gorge (s) several hundred metres down. There have been no efforts from the side of the ruling political dispensation to lessen these deadly accident. Sounds shocking indeed. Yet the day another fatal accidents occured at district Tehri Garhwal under the jurisdiction of Tota Ghati whether SDRF ( State Disaster Relief Force) retrieved three dead bodies from the deep gorge after immense efforts going two hundred and fifty metres down in the gorge through ropes risking their own lives and then bringing the bodies on the road, sending them for postmortem. According to he latest news The SDRF has recovered three bodies from an accident-hit vehicle near Tota Valley in Tehri district, where a vehicle fell into a deep gorge. On October 27, SDRF Uttarakhand received information from Police Post Bacheli Khal that a pickup vehicle had met with an accident and fallen into a deep gorge near Totaghati. Upon receiving this information, the SDRF team, led by Sub-Inspector Sawar Singh, immediately departed for the scene. Upon arriving, the team found the vehicle, carrying three people, had fallen into a ditch approximately 250 meters deep. The SDRF team carried out an intensive rescue operation in extremely difficult conditions and with the help of ropes and stretchers, pulled out the three bodies from the ditch and handed them over to the local police. The deceased were identified as Mohan Singh, son of Tara Singh (age 25 years), resident of village Fatehpur Tanda, Doiwala police station, Dehradun district. Praveen Rathore, son of Dinesh Kumar (age approximately 25 years), resident of Doiwala, Dehradun district. The deceased has been identified as Tarachand son of Suresh Chand (age about 24 years), resident of village Fatehpur Tanda Majri Grant, Police Station Doiwala, District Dehradun.
