Eight injured rescued after the head on collision accident between a bike and a max near Khirsu on Srinagar road

A serious accident has occured near Khirsu on Srinagar road in Pauri Garhwal where a speeding Max and a bike collided with each other from the front with Max plunging in a deep gorge injuring eight occupants some severely.
According to the news pouring in, the head on collision was so powerful that both the Max and the bike plunged into the gorge.
The eight injured also included the bike rider.
As soon as the information reached the local police and the concerned authorities they immediately reached the accidental site and engaged themselves in the relief operations.
All the injured were immediately though after great efforts rescued from the gorge and sent to the Khirsu hospital/ healthcare centre for necessary treatment etc.
According to Inspector Vinay Kumar, in-charge of Kotwali Shrinagar, the motorcycle was coming from Paithani towards Shrinagar. Between the villages of Khirsu and Gwad village the Max collided with an incoming bike. After the accident, both vehicles overturned and fell into a ditch.
The injured in the accident were identified as Gagan Singh (75), Satebari Devi (50),
Sangita Devi (23), Anju (24), Mangal Singh (32), Gudi Devi (55), Gautam Singh (26), residents of Paithani, and the bike rider Gajed Singh (42), a resident of Pabau.
Accidents in Uttarakhand have become the order of the day and majority of the accidents are fatal in which the vehicles involved in the accidents usually plunge into the gorge proving extremely fatal and disastrous.
