Distressed daughter of late Mohan Singh Gusain, PA at deputy CM’s office, running from pillar to post for compensionate employment for the last one year

A distressed family of an employee working in the staff of the Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has been running from pillar to post for the last one year but couldn’t get employment despite the fact that the head of the family and only earning member namely Mohan Singh Gusain died of cardiac arrest while on duty.

According to Kusum Kadwal Bhatt, an activist working in field of trafficked and missing children for the last several years have raised her voice expressing her grave concern that despite the assurance given by the deputy CM that the daughter of the deceased would be provided compassionate employment in Delhi government, nothing has been done till date despite the lapse of one year.

The daughter of personal assistant to deputy chief minister of National Capital Territory Manish Sisodia, Mohan Singh Gusain have been running from pillar to post since the last one year getting assurances after assurances but could not get the job despite the family in extreme financial jeopardy.

They have complained that the applicant was not even allowed to meet the deputy CM to narrate her woes.

The family has lost all hopes says Kusum Kandwal Bhatt.

Mohan Singh Gusain had earlier also worked in the staff of the former chief minister of NCT of Delhi Shiela Dikshit, during Congress regime .

His family says that he had died of cardiac arrest while on duty in the office of deputy CM probably due to depression.

In a tweet social activist Kusum Kandwal Bhatt while expressing the woes of late Gusain’s daughter wrote in Hindi that though she want to convey her good wishes on the daughters day but her question is : Is it so difficult to meet the leaders in Delhi to narrate their grievances. She has appealed to Delhi deputy chief minister to expeditiously provide compassionate employment to the daughter of Mohan Singh Gusain working as PA in Deputy CM’s office which is her fundamental constitutional right.

The Congress leader Lakshman Singh Rawat has also appealed to the deputy CM to personally intervene in this matter and help the distressed family get the compassionate employment constitutionally due to their daughter, especially when her father succumbed in the office due to cardiac arrest.

It may be recalled that the AAP govt in Delhi has compensated Rs One crore to all those doctors, paramedics n sanitary employees including DP personal who had succumbed to Covid 19 pandemic while on duty and were lauded by their respective families and Delhiites but in this case the tormented family couldn’t get the compassionate employment since the last one year.

They have requested the deputy CM to kindly hear to their woes and get them the needful done forthwith.
