The speech of the former Uttarakhand chief minister and member of parliament from Haridwar the other day Trivendra Singh Rawat in Lok Sabha in which he outrightly accused his own Uttarakhand government drastically for the massive illegal mining in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun and Nainital resulting in not only loss to the roads, bridges and public life but also brutally killing and injuring human beings in Uttarakhand including the government officers allegedly involved in league with the mining mafia has gained tremendous moment as the media of the state is blowing the issue beyond proportion patting the former chief minister and Haridwar MP for his bold stand and siding with truth, transparency and integrity. The former chief minister spoke on this issue putting the Uttarakhand government in total jeopardy run by his own party for the second consecutive term under the leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami and looked as if a leader of the opposition is speaking in Lok Sabha not of the treasury benches. Trivendra Singh Rawat is believed to be the blue eyed boy of the union Home minister Amit Shah. When in Rishikesh last year a young tuber journalist was attacked by a liquor mafia and the entire media was speaking against the BJP ruling party and the government – accusing it for the deteriorating law and order and police being in league with the liquor mafia, he was Trivendra Rawat, MP who went to see the injured journalist to the hospital in Rishikesh whereas not a single BJP leader went there fearing consequences from the BJP higher ups. The friendship of former Congress CM Harish Rawat and Trivendra Singh Rawat is also well known whose case of Dencha Seed Scandal was allegedly cleared during the tenure of Congress when Rawat was the chief minister. There were however no solid grounds against Trivendra Rawat in this case to pin him as an offender reveal sources.
