DELHI CM SAYS THAT NOW ONWARDS THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF DELHI WILL BE FERRIED TO VARIOUS PILGRIMAGE DESTINATIONS IN AIR CONDITIONED LUXURY BUSES
In view of the shortages of trains and the inconvenience faced by the senior citizens interested to go on free of cost pilgrimage provided by Delhi government, the chief minister Arvind Kejrival has announced arranging luxury air conditioned buses for various pilgrimage destinations for senior citizens to nearby locations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh etc for the convenience of those who are interested to go to pilgrimage during their old age at least for once, from now onwards. The chief minister Arvind Kejrival made this announcement on Saturday while distributing tickets to over 780 senior citizens going to government sponsored pilgrimage to Dwarkadheesh in Gujarat via train, being send off in buses till New Delhi Railway Station. Kindly recall that till now the Delhi government has given this free travel facility to about 71000 senior citizens enabling them visit various religious destinations via trains. The CM, Delhi Arvind Kejrival said that now the senior citizens will be ferried via luxury buses to pilgrimage at Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vaishno Devi, Shridhi, Vrindavan, Haridwar and Ayodhya on buses after they faced shortages of trains. While the Delhi government has urged the central railways to make trains available for senior citizens to go to various religious destinations, Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival has announced that from now onwards the senior citizens interested to go for pilgrimages will be ferried free of cost by the air conditioned luxury buses to various pilgrimage destinations that are near to Delhi. The chief minister yesterday distributed tickets to 780 pilgrims at Tyagraj Nagar stadium where an evening of soulful devotional music was also arranged and senior citizens send to New Delhi Railway stations via buses for government sponsored your to Dwarkadheesh.
