DP Crime Branch officials of Delhi Police visit Delhi minister Atishi Bharadwaj’s residence to serve notice on alleged poaching charges of 7 AAP MLAs by BJP
The Crime Branch sleuths of Delhi Police have today gone to the residence of the Delhi minister Atishee Bharadwaj who wasn’t there to serve the notice, who asked her staff to accept it.
The notice by the Crime Branch officials being served on Delhi minister Atishee is in connection with the alleged accusations made by her and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a press conference regarding poaching of seven AAP MLAs by the BJP by allegedly offering them the bribe of Rs 25 crores each.
The Delhi BJP took this baseless charge by her very seriously and approached the Delhi Police commissioner urging him to take severe legal action against the CM and minister for levelling baseless charges against the BJP.
They had also presented a written memorandum cum complaint to the Delhi Police commissioner Mr. Sanjay Arora in this context.
It was because of this complaint by the Delhi BJP and its president Veerendra Sachdeva that the Delhi Police crime Branch officials have reached the residence of Atishee Bharadwaj to serve her the notice.
It is said that the minister who is looking after the education department as its minister, apart from some other departments in Delhi government is also to inaugurate two government schools with the Delhi chief minister later in the day who had been skipping the ED summons for the last few days, terming them as illegal.
He is also believed to have approached a Delhi court against the ED summons sent to him terming them as illegal.
It may be recalled that on January 7, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi minister Atishee Bharadwaj had allegedly levelled allegations against the BJP for luring the seven AAP MLAs with offers of Rs 25 crores and a ticket each to contest the elections etc.
A day earlier Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal too was served notice by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police asking him to furnish a reply within three days on his charges of alleged poaching of AAP MLAs by BJP.
