Chief minister faces the ire of the people when he and Anil Baluni, MP exited from Ramdutt Joshi PPP mode hospital at Rampur
The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Pauri Garhwal member of parliament Anil Baluni had to confront the enraged mob when they were coming out after meeting the injured passengers of the Marchula Bus tragedy in which thirty six people had died and 27 grievously injured.
The people in good numbers were trying to physically come towards the chief minister and the MP, Garhwal Dhami and Baluni – raising slogans against them with the police officers having a hard day to desist the enraged crowd forcing themselves/ advancing towards the VIPs.
This enraged mob was protesting against the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP Pauri Garhwal MP Anil Baluni when they were exiting out of the Ramdutt Joshi Rajkiya Sanyukt Chikitsalaya running on PPP mode badly ill equipped, not able to render satisfactory medical facilities and services to the patient.
The protestors were enraged on two counts – one, the repeated fatal accidents happening in Uttarakhand with the authorities doing literally nothing to lessen them and two, the state government converting the Ramdutt Joshi hospital under the PPP mode not rendering effective medical facilities to the patients including devoid of basic health facilities, paramedics and surgeons etc.
They were raising slogans like Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami like go back go back and Pushkar Singh Dhami Murdabad.
The heavy police bandobast and senior police officers whisked away the CM and the MP into their cars after the heavy crowd followed them in annoyance.
A senior journalist and former president of Press Club of India Umakant Lakhera wrote on his FB post with the video in Hindi : Till the time the government of Uttarakhand will be controlled by the remote from Dehradun the people in the distant areas will die as in the case of tragic bus accident and in hospitals with no facilities as in Ramdutt Joshi, Ramnagar hospital which has been brought under the PPP mode. Though we got a separate state for the namesake but the people for whom the state was created became miserable. There is no morality left to face the opposition of these people. Those people who lost everything in the Almora accident will never get justice. Three generations perished together , said Umakant Lakhera through his brief social media post.
Meanwhile, the former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat met the injured patients and the Rishikesh AIIMS, interacted with them and doctors urging them to render best possible treatment to the patients.
