Chamoli police gives third day update of Tharali relief operations

The massive Tharali ecological disaster that gigantically destroyed the properties, vehicles, houses and shops in Chamoli district of Garhwal, Uttarakhand with the the disaster related agencies and Chamoli police doing its relief operations on wide scale trying hard to locate the missing persons through the active police dog squads and also using other means like JCB and cranes to retrieve the dead if any from under the heavy debris.

According to the police authorities of Chamoli the NDRF, SDRF, local police and the entire administrative machinery led by the district magistrate are engaged in the relief operations especially retrieving the cars from under the huge Debris, finding the missing persons using the dog squads and taking the services of JCB machines to dig the huge rubble and cranes as well to


restore the houses and various destroyed location to its original shape.

Giving the third day update of the performance of various agencies in Tharali ecological affected various locations the Chamoli police said that Police, administration and disaster management teams are continuously engaged in relief and rescue work at the disaster affected places in Tharali area.

👉 The work of making the road smooth is going on at a war footing. 👉 JCB is being used for digging at the place marked by the Army Dog Squad to search for the missing person.
