A leading entrepreneur, promoter of sports, culture n music including philanthropy in Uttarakhand primarily based in Gujarat having accorded employment to thousands of youths Suresh Chandra Pandey CMD of renowned S.K.P.L Group has kindly consented to be the Special chief guest of honour in the 13 th Lansdowne Old Association Students annual meet at the prominent hill station Lansdowne popular as the headquarter of Garhwal Rifles. The first citizen of Lansdowne Cantonment and entire Lansdowne, Brigadier Vijay Mohan Chowdhary, Commandant Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre will be the chief guest on this ocassion. Lansdowne Old Students Association whose president is Dr.S.P Naithani is a prestigious socio cultural organisation which organises the annual meet every year with the basic objective to enable its alumni / old students join here with their families to refresh the old reminiscences as well as their present achievements or outcome every year alongwith their families. Majority of the Old students of Lansdowne are placed on prestigious positions in writing, judiciary, advocacy, Army, administration, defence forces , entrepreneur ship, in medical science , as technocrats, politicians etc. The two former chief ministers of Uttarakhand Tirath Singh Rawat and MP Trivendra Singh Rawat including legendary singer Narendra Singh Rawat are also the old students of Lansdowne, Jaharikhal. The LOSA meet is a good combination of the past and present generation and a splendid mix of past and present experiences. The meet enables introduction of Old students to the new ones and other dignitaries who though are not the old students of Lansdowne but join the LOSA meet every year to acquaint themselves with the brilliant old students excelling in various fields of excellence. Rajiv Barthwal is one of the significant chains who plays a pivotal role in keeping this annual meet going on with immense fanfare and enthusiasm with the pivotal efforts and blessings of Dr. S.P Naithani, LOSA chief. The former beauty queen and now in politics serving the poor and down trodden n hapless women through her NGO Anukriti Gusain would be the guest of hour of this event while renowned social activist Shrimati Ranjana Rawat will ask grace the ocassion with her pivotal presence. The LOSA meet includes several interesting cultural and social events with the participation of the students of central school of Lansdowne and St Joseph convent school including activities like lucky Draw , Tambola, music, dance, singing, Lucky draw, introduction of the chief guests to all participants including to the LOSA football teams and many other interesting and mesmerising events taking place on this ocassion.
