A popular Bollywood actor, expecially in Uttarakhand n outside the state well known by Uttarakhandies staying abroad hailing from the Kumoan region of Uttarakhand , having acted in sevetal Bollywood movies in varied roles including Uttarakhand movies as well, Hemant Pandey’s two movies namely Prakash Electronics and Track the Mystry on MX Player. The actor has appealed in social media to watch his two movies on MX player writing : Friends, my two movies viz Prakash Electronics and Track the Mystry have been released this month. Born in 1970 in Uttarakhand Hemant Pandey’s few accomplishments are the movies Krishh, Milenge Milenge etc. Having made a niche for himself by the dint of hard work, dedication and commitment towards theatre n acting Hemant Pandey acknowleged his first major role in 1996, with Taank Jhank. He played the chatacter of a tenant alongside with Dharmesh Vyas and Hemant Kevani, who is desirous to be an IAS officer. Thereafter Pandey worked in Office Office (TV show) and Mrs. Malinee Iyer (TV show) with his best contributions becomimg popular as a Television serials actor . A die hard fan of two popular bollywood comedians Hemant Pandey says that he grew up watching comedies of the legendary Johnny Walker and Johnny, the comedians impressed the most .

Pandey’s struggle continued and thereafter he performed a character “Ghasita” on Imagine TV’s Neer Bhare Tera Naina Devi. Ghasita was a character of a common villager and like many in his village,burdened with abject poverty like other village inhabitants. Being the sole bread-winner of the family, he does not think twice the moment he gets a chance to become rich even at the cost of his daughter Laxmi being exploited. Fooling the villagers Hemant Pandey projects his daughter as a Devi and pockets the money he earns in the name of God. When he becomrs richer and the wealth starts arriving , his stature in the village and his lifestyle changes considerably . This sudden richness makes him believe that he is now the most powerful man of the village eventually becoming cunning, shrewd and greedy.

Also simultaneously worked in as a stand up comedian in Sony’s Kahani Comedi Circus ki.

Hemant Pandey despite busy in Mumbai in connection with his profession very often visits his native place and expresses his love and affection towards his mother land and the invaluable culture and traditions. He was made the chief of the Films body in Uttarakhand by lateron he resigned. In one of his earlier facebook posts Pandey says that his parents have forbidden me to join any political party and advised him to keep himself away from it just focussing on his profession and upbringing of his family n children.
