Bollywood actor Akhay Kumar to be the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand says CM Pushkar Singh Dhami
The famous bollywood actor Akshay Kumar would be the brand Ambassador of Uttarakhand.
This was announced by Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today while responding to media standing along with the actor. The chief minister appreciated the good work being done by the Akhay Kumar as a philanthropist apart from being an eminent actor.
The chief minister said that in Bolywood actor Akshay Kumar will be ambassador of Uttarakhand, the request he has accepted.
It may be recalled that the renowned actor of Bollywood Akhay Kumar had last year interviewed the prime minister Narendra Modi as well and had been contributing to the martyred Army Jawan families handsomely from time to time apart from contributing to the natural calamity victims.
Speaking to ANI Akhay Kumar who is in Mussourie these days in connection with a film’s shooting lauded the serene natural beauty of Uttarakhand saying that it is the most beautiful state I have ever been to. I am unlucky that during my 31 years of engagement in Bollywood, I could not visit here. He said he had been to several countries of the world like, US, London and Switzerland etc but the serene natural beauty witnessed here is incomparable.
He said this is the land of abode of Gods and outstandingly beautiful state.
Regarding films shooting he said that this business should be enhanced here to provide employment to youths and earn handsomely for the state as well.
Akshay Kumar said that whatever CM Dhami would ask me to do for the good of the state and to encourage films’ shootings in Uttarakhand I will definitely do the needful.
When asked about his message for the youths he pointed towards his tshirt on which it was inscribed “Drug Free Body”, and said be away from it. This is my message for the young generation he responded to media man.
He seemed to be extremely jubilant experiencing the outstanding natural beauty while in shooting at Mussourie.
The chief minister said that Akshay Kumar will be our brand ambassador who had always been helping people in distress, during natural calamities like floods etc.
He is a fantastic human being apart from being an outstanding actor. The Bolywood actor visited the chief minister’s residence at Dehradun on Dhami’s invitation. In a tweet the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami posted pictures with Akshay Kumar and wrote : Today welcomed the renowned actor, inspiration of the youths and my friend Akshay Kumar at the Chief minister’s house. Akshay Kumar has appreciated the steps being taken by the government to encourage the youths of the state and assured of every possible support tweeted CM Dhami.
It may be recalled that his father in law Rajesh Khanna, the first superstar, too was very much impressed by the Uttarakhand’s exceptional natural beauty and want to buy a land here to built a house for vacations during summer. He stayed at Mussourie in a hotel for forty one days during the shooting of a Bollywood movie GHAR KA CHIRAG.
