ANOTHER BRONZE CLINCHED BY SWAPNIL KULASE IN 50 METRE AIR RIFLE EVENT IN PARIS OLYMPICS. PRESIDENT AND PM CONGRATULATE
After clinching two bronze medals for the country in Paris Olympics , with Manu Bhaker becoming the first outstanding woman to win two back to back bronze medals in one edition of Paris Olympics, making a historical records, India again clinched the third Bronze medal in 50 metre Rifles’ third positions event win by Swapnil Kulase who had given hope yesterday after entering the finals.
China and Ukraine were the Gold and Silver winners.
Liu Yukan of China bagged the Gold and Serhiy Kulush of Ukraine won the Silver medal with India’s Swapnil Kulase bagging the Bronze.
While China scored 462.3 winning the Gold India’s Swapnil Kulase scored 451.4 bagging the Bronze in the sixth round finishing 7 th in the qualification round.
Kulase’s victory bringing laurels for the nation raising the Indian tricolor high after Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in Paris Olympics , Shooting has really made India proud globally always.
Chateuroux was for Kusale, a very first Olympics experience.His entry into Olympics was because he came fourth in the world Olympics held in Cairo.
What is interesting to note is that Swapnil Kulase was the part of the Indian Men’s team that had triumphed and bagged Bronze.
